Fosters diversity, discussion, and constructive change in ourselves, our nation, and our world. The Circle's civil discourse concept drew on a 19th century tradition, the Saturday Club. GCC gatherings have been designed to be timely and highly participatory discussions on important topics of our day; international peace efforts, race relations, nuclear proliferation, children's rights, to name but a few. GCC has more than 10,000 members.

GREATER Ft.LAUDERDALE SISTER CITIES ORGANIZATION

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Sister Cities Organization (GFLSCI) is a non-profit citizen diplomacy network creating and strengthening partnerships between US and International Communities in an effort to increase global cooperation at the municipal level, to promote cultural understanding, and to stimulate economic development. GFLSCI leads the movement for local community development and volunteer action, by motivating and empowering private Citizens, municipal officials and business leaders to conduct long term programs of mutual benefit.

Limburg Development Company LIOF attracts and helps foreign investors to (re-)locate in the Dutch province of Limburg. This province is also a regional business gateway center, covering German and Belgian border cities.

The American Council for the United Nations University is a U.S. non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization that provides a point of contact between Americans and the primary research organ of the UN - the United Nations University (UNU) - which can focus intellectual resources from all nations on world problems. Having scholars on its governing council
rather than nations and funding much of its programs through an endowment helps ensure academic autonomy.

Miami European Union Center

The mission of the Miami EUC is to promote teaching, research, and outreach activities relating to the EU. To accomplish this mission, the EUC will facilitate the development of new courses on the EU, provide for financial assistance to graduate students and faculty pursuing research on topics related to the EU, hold academic conferences on EU matters, sponsor public lectures featuring EU speakers, and conduct outreach workshops for educators, journalists and media professionals, and the greater Miami business community.
